Do I have to fill out the form, are there other ways to receive a quotation?

How long does the form take to fill out?
Approximately 15 to 20 minutes depending on the information you have available at the time.

How long does it take to receive a quote using the online form?
You will receive a quotation within 12 business hours if a site visit is deemed to be not required by makegoods.com.au. If a site visit is required, a meeting will be arranged and a price will be given within 2 business days of submitting the quotation.

How soon can we start after acceptance of a quote?
We are generally able to start within 3-5 business days of acceptance of an order. It may also depend on the requirements of the building management or any lead times for materials.

How long does an office make good or alteration take?
Depending on scope of works it can generally vary between 2-8 business days.

What are the payment terms?
Projects under 10k require no deposit and payment within 7 days of completion. Projects over 10k require a 40% deposit and balance within 7 days of completion. < p>

Who is usually responsible for a make good?
Most tenants are responsible for a make good once the tenancy agreement has expired refer to tenancy contract agreement or building management guidelines.

Where does it stipulate requirements for a make good?
Requirements for a make good are usually stipulated in the tenant contract agreement and/or building management guidelines. If you are unsure of your obligation to the owner or building manager please contact us for advice.

Generally the clause requiring a make good in a commercial tenancy agreement is as follows;
“Upon termination or expiry of the lease for any reason the Tenant must remove their own fixtures and shall remove their signs provided that any damage or defacement occasioned to any part of the premises in the course of such removal shall be remedied by the tenant immediately or, if they fail to do so, by the Landlord at the Tenant’s expense.”

What if there are changes to be made during the course of the project?
Makegood.com.au will only charge a management fee of 10% on the cost of all variations with quotation submitted to the client for approval. This gives the client piece of mind that they will not be ‘taken along for a ride’ if additional work is required.

How will the quotation be submitted?
The quotation will be submitted via. E-mail or fax, and the price will be separated into the trade category headings corresponding with the online form.

What if I have received a more competitive price?
If you receive a more competitive price to complete the same work as quoted by makegoods.com.au we will beat that price if it is submitted to us by fax or email.
