The Makegoods.com.au Process

  1. Gather as much information as possible for the make good project including critical dimensions, tasks required or scope of works or items required within your lease documents. If unsure of lease document particulars you may upload the segments of the contract relevant to the make good and send to us for review to confirm all obligations are reasonably satisfied.

  2. For first time users of the site with little building terminology knowledge, we recommend printing the PDF version of the webform. Print it out and bring it to the tenancy to complete with the space in front of you.

  3. The form is broken into category as follows;
    • Your details
    • General info
    • Demolition Cleaning
    • New partitions / Doors
    • Floor finishes
    • Ceilings
    • Painting
    • Electrical
    • Fire Services
    • Hydraulics (Plumbing)
    • Mechanical (Air Conditioning Systems)

  4. Questions will be asked in either a yes or no, lineal meter, square meter or meter dimension.

  5. If you are unsure of the answers to any question you may make an estimate and we will confirm onsite. You may also make a note in the category ‘Additional items’ box and we will investigate.

  6. Complete form and either fax or submit electronically (depending on method chosen).

  7. You will be either faxed back or emailed your reference number and client contact manager details (depending on contact method chosen).

  8. You will receive a quotation within 12 business hours if a site visit is deemed to be not required by makegoods.com.au. If a site visit is required, a price will be given within 2 business days of submitting the quotation.

  9. Upon Approval or acceptance of a quotation a site meeting will be established between the client and other project participants and a makegoods.com.au contact manager to confirm particulars, changes, commencement and completion dates, operating hours and clients needs and requirements.

  10. Formal notification will be provided to building management regarding commencement onsite and completion.

  11. Makegoods.com.au will take possession of site as a ‘building site’ in order to comply with statutory regulations and appropriate signage and obligations of this status will be adhered to.

  12. Upon practical completion of the make good, a site meeting will be established to confirm completion with client and signoff of completion will be sought.

  13. Relevant certifications and ‘as built’ documentation will be provided to client and building management.
